ReMederi is latin for ‘to heal’. ReMederi Health was created to provide information and services in Homoeopathic medicine and Bio-compatibility food testing, as well as general information about how our life choices can hinder or assist us to thrive in health.

Kylie has been in the health industry for 20 years. Having previously managed a busy sole General Practitioner medical practice in East Melbourne, she recognised the limitations of not taking the whole person as a unique individual into consideration. The reductionist approach to health ignores the underlying causes and contributing factors of a persons situation. Having struggled with eczema and bouts of depression with no lasting help from other modalities, Kylie embraced homoeopathy and life changed direction.
After giving birth to her second child and treating any and all ailments suffered by her first born with homoeopathy, she recognised the need for readily available access to homoeopathic help and information. Living a chemical free lifestyle and prioritising nutritious wholefoods for her family, Kylie launched her organic fruit and vegetable box business and 100% Natural SoapNuts business with her partner and efficiently balanced this with parenting and studying. She completed her studies in Homoeopathy and founded ReMederi Health in 2018 and is dedicated to making this 200+ year old modality available to her community and beyond.

Who am I

My name is Kylie and I am a qualified Homoeopath and Bio-compatibility Consultant with a passion for health, respect, nurturing, compassion and trust. I am an advocate for choice. My mission is to provide information that will get you thinking about the choices you are (or are not) making and how this is affecting yours and your families health. I care about whole body/mind/spirit health and I am here to share my skills and knowledge so that you may consistently thrive in health and well-being. I offer you my services and look forward to working with you.

  • Initial Homoeopathy Consultation:
    This is a one-on-one personalised consultation where a complete and detailed history focusing on all aspects of your state of health will be obtained. Please contact me for more detailed information.

  • Homoeopathic Consultation Follow Up:
    Your second personalised consultation is crucial to monitor how you are responding to the treatment and to make adjustments as required. Here we can go deeper in your healthcare so that you may continue to thrive.

  • Bio-compatibility food testing consult:
    This safe, accurate hair analysis test is not an allergy test. It offers an in-depth examination of your current health status and requirements by highlighting which foods and products are right for Your body and which are not. It's about Your individual compatibility and can identify those foods and products that may be causing or contributing to being out of balance.

  • Homoeopathic First Aid Workshop:
    A tailored workshop to meet the needs of your group/organisation/school. I provide information about & explain how to use homoeopathic remedies in acute situations and empower you to take control of your health. The Consultation

The consultation process:

  • Homoeopathy treats the “whole person”, which means that two people presenting with the same complaint may receive a different medicine based on their individual symptoms and emotional response to the illness.

  • An initial consultation takes between 90 & 120 minutes and involves gathering information about you to formulate your complete picture. This enables a holistic approach to finding the cause of your ailment.

    • During the consultation details about your current and past medical history including details of any traumas, illnesses, operations, your behaviour, nature, attitude, perceptions and reactions will be gathered. Knowledge of your immediate family medical history may also be relevant to your treatment, for example your parents. This is particularly important when the patient is a child. Other questions that may not seem relevant will also be asked in order to compile a complete picture of you. Information about sleep patterns, cravings, desires and what makes you feel better and/or worse will all be noted in order to arrive at the most suitable remedy.

  • It is important to monitor how you respond to the remedy and so follow–up appointments are arranged anywhere between 2-6 week intervals. This will depend on your individual situation and will be discussed at your initial consultation. Should you have any questions or if any issues arise between appointments, you can contact me.

  • Homoeopaths do not make diagnoses of any medical conditions as it is not the medical condition being treated; it is You as the whole person. Should you be under the care of other health practitioners it is advisable to notify them that you have chosen to seek homoeopathic treatment as well as notify me of any other treatments you are undertaking.

    • You are better able to thrive in health with a collaborative team effort – much like your body parts all work together, so too is it best if your health practitioners work together with you.

  • Bio-Compatibiity testing involves taking a small hair sample during your consultation and completing the symptom checklist which is then analysed with 500+ food and household items to identify which are compatible with You.

  • You will be provided with a meal diary to complete over a 7 day period. You will write down everything you eat and come into contact with (for example cleaning products and personal care items) and then bring this into your next consultation to discuss in conjunction with your hair analysis report.

    • We will go over the report together and make the necessary adjustments to start you on the journey back to health. Follow up appointments to monitor your progress will be arranged and a re-test is usually done at the 6 month period.

What is homeopathy?

Homoeopathy is a holistic system of healthcare which stimulates the natural healing ability of the body to fight infection and susceptibility to illness and utilises homoeopathic remedies to assist the body to return to a state of balance and well-being.

What are homoeopathic medicines made of?

Homoeopathic remedies can be made of plant, mineral and animal extracts which are then diluted in varying degrees to avoid side effects. This is called potentisation and they are given in pillule or liquid form.

How long would the treatment last?

The duration of treatment varies depending on each individual case.

Are Homoeopathic remedies safe for all age groups and pregnant/nursing women?

Yes. Homoeopathic remedies are made from natural substances and are given in minimal, high dilution doses which means they are low-risk and safe for children, pregnant and nursing women and the elderly.

Can I take my homoeopathic remedies alongside conventional medicine?

There are generally no contra-indications, but always check with your health care provider.

Is a homoeopathic consultation covered by my health fund?

Until 1st April 2019, Homoeopathy is recognised by all major private health funds which provide cover for homoeopathic treatment by a registered homoeopathic practitioner. I have a provider number for different health funds and it is best to notify me of which health fund you are with at the time of making your appointment.

Is it true that Paul McCartney and the Royal British family use Homoeopathy?

Yes! Both the rock and roll legend and the Royal family are avid users of homoeopathic remedies. The British Royal Family have been using homoeopathy since 1830 and the Queen has her own personal homoeopath.
